The Rancho Cucamonga Redevelopment Agency, in conjunction with its video production partner Showreel International, was honored with the highly sought after Telly Silver and Bronze Awards for its quality-of-life DVD, Living the Dream.

There were more than 14,000 entries received from throughout the United States and several foreign countries in this year’s competition. Less than 10 percent of all winning entries receive the Silver Award and less than 25 percent of all winning entries receive the Bronze Award.

The Rancho Cucamonga Redevelopment Agency, in conjunction with its video production partner Showreel International, was honored with the highly sought after Communicator Award for its quality-of-life DVD, Living the Dream.

There were more than 9,000 entries from across the U.S. and around the world in this year's competition. The Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring the creative excellence for communications professionals and are judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), a 200+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.

In October 2008, the Rancho Cucamonga Redevelopment Agency received two awards from the City-County Communications and Marketing Association (3CMA) for its community marketing efforts. The awards were presented at 3CMA’s 20th Anniversary Conference and Savvy Awards Program, which was attended by public sector communications and marketing professionals from throughout the United States.

The 3CMA judges honored Rancho Cucamonga with its highest accolade — the “Savvy” award — for the Agency’s promotional DVD, Living the Dream, and selected the Agency’s Tourism Marketing Program for the 3CMA “Silver Circle” award.
